Real Hair Co offers Remy human hair extensions across seven approved methods: Nano Ring, Flat Tip, Micro Tip, Mini Weft, Hand Tied Weft, Tape In and Invisible Tape Extensions.
How do I choose the right method?
Method choice depends on your natural hair, hair density, colour history, lifestyle and how you prefer to maintain your extensions. Fine or thin hair may suit Mini Weft, Nano Ring, Invisible Tape Extensions or Tape In. Medium hair can suit most methods. Fuller hair may suit Hand Tied Weft, Mini Weft or Flat Tip.
Which methods suit fine or thin hair?
Fine or thin hair often suits Mini Weft, Nano Ring, Invisible Tape Extensions or Tape In. Hand Tied Weft is generally not the first choice for fine or thin hair because it has return hairs and must not be cut.
What is the difference between Mini Weft and Hand Tied Weft?
Mini Weft has no return hairs and can be cut. Hand Tied Weft has return hairs and must not be cut. Mini Weft is often a softer option for fine or thin hair, while Hand Tied Weft is generally better suited to medium to full hair.
What is Flat Tip Hair Extensions?
Flat Tip Hair Extensions are an Italian keratin heat fusion method. They generally suit medium to full hair best and are not recommended for very fine or fragile hair.
Are Invisible Tape Extensions completely invisible?
No. Invisible Tape Extensions are Real Hair Co's most discreet tape option, but no hair extension method should be described as completely invisible.
Can I get help choosing a colour?
Yes. Our team offers colour match support by photo, email, live chat, phone or video call. Colour match support is guidance only and should not be treated as a guaranteed colour match.
How long does delivery take?

Can individuals buy hair extensions directly from Real Hair Co?
Yes. You do not need to be a salon or hairdresser to purchase Real Hair Co hair extensions. Retail customers can buy hair directly from our online store.
What is separate from buying the hair?
Purchasing the hair and having it professionally installed are separate decisions. If your chosen method requires professional application, you will still need a suitably trained extension professional to assess your natural hair, confirm suitability and complete the installation and maintenance.
Buying hair directly does not remove the value of professional consultation, application or aftercare. It simply gives you the option to purchase the extension hair yourself.
Can Real Hair Co help me choose what to order?

For quantity, length and method decisions, the right answer depends on your natural hair, desired result and how the extensions will be installed. We will not assume one quantity or method is right for everyone.
Can I visit Real Hair Co to browse colours or stock?
Real Hair Co is online-only. We do not offer in-person stock viewing or colour-match appointments. If colour is the main concern, send clear photos in neutral indirect daylight or use a video call so our team can help narrow the options remotely.
Is buying direct always cheaper than buying through a salon?

Can I use heat tools on Real Hair Co extensions?
Real Hair Co extensions are Remy human hair and can usually be styled with heat tools. Use a suitable heat protectant, keep heat moderate and follow aftercare guidance to help maintain the hair.
How do I care for tape extensions?
Avoid oils, heavy conditioners and styling products near the tape tabs. Keep conditioner through the mid-lengths and ends only, brush gently and follow your stylist's maintenance guidance.
Does Real Hair Co provide hair extension installation or maintenance?
No. Real Hair Co is an online hair extension supplier and does not provide salon installation, move-up or maintenance appointments. Our team can help with colour match support and general product, method and quantity guidance before you order.
What if I need a salon for installation or maintenance?
If you need an extension specialist, our team may be able to suggest external salons based on your location and the service or method you need where we have current referral information available.
